APHA HIV/AIDS public health infographic
For more than 30 years, the U.S. has invested in programs and research to fight HIV/AIDS. Public health programs and research have worked together to change a fatal diagnosis into a chronically managed disease. Public health and prevention have significantly decreased the number of people dying from AIDS – but the fight is not over. We must continue to fund public health programs to continue our progress.
