Much is at stake as Congress prepares to move forward with legislation to reauthorize the farm bill and at the same time reduce the deficit. We need to ensure that funding for important programs such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Education Program, and the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program are protected.
